What are Stamps?

Stamps are verifiable credentials that prove ownership or activity on external platforms. They form the foundation of your Unique Humanity Score in Human Passport.

Stamp Categories

Stamps are organized into four categories:

  • Blockchain & Crypto — Wallet activity, token holdings, on-chain transactions
  • Government IDs — Identity verification through KYC providers
  • Social & Professional — Accounts on platforms like GitHub, LinkedIn, Discord, and more
  • Biometric Verification — Physical identity verification methods

How Stamps Work

When you verify a Stamp, the Passport App checks that the relevant data exists on the external platform. Your data is never stored or exported — the app simply confirms that the credential is valid.

Stamp Expiration

Stamps expire every 90 days to ensure that your credentials remain current and accurate. After expiration, you will need to re-verify your Stamps.

One-Click Renewal

Returning users can take advantage of one-click renewal to quickly re-verify their previously connected Stamps without repeating the full verification process.
