What is Human Passport?
Human Passport is a modular suite of identity tools that enables Proof of Humanity in web3. The Passport App allows users to collect Stamps — verifiable credentials representing activities that real humans can verify but bad actors struggle to fake.
Stamp Categories
Stamps fall into four main categories:
- Blockchain & Crypto — On-chain activity and holdings
- Government IDs — Identity verification via KYC providers
- Social & Professional Platforms — Accounts on established platforms
- Biometrics — Biometric verification methods
Unique Humanity Score
Each Stamp carries a specific weight. The sum of all your verified Stamps equals your Unique Humanity Score. A score of 20 or higher typically indicates a unique human.
Privacy-Preserving
Passport is designed to be privacy-preserving. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected or stored. The system only verifies that certain credentials exist without exposing the underlying data.
For Builders
Beyond the Passport App, Passport offers additional tools for builders:
- Model-Based Detection — Machine learning models for evaluating identity signals
- Data Services — APIs and tools for integrating Passport data into your applications
