Step-by-Step Verification
Self-Staking
- Acquire the required amount of GTC tokens on Ethereum, Optimism, or Arbitrum.
- Navigate to the Passport App and connect your wallet.
- Select the Identity Staking Stamp.
- Choose the self-staking option and select your desired tier.
- Approve the GTC token spend and confirm the staking transaction.
- The stamp will be added to your Passport at the corresponding tier.
Community Staking
- Share your Passport profile with community members who want to stake on your identity.
- Community members stake GTC on your identity through the Passport App.
- As the total community stake on your identity reaches higher thresholds, your community staking tier increases.

Troubleshooting
- Insufficient GTC — Ensure you have enough GTC in your wallet on one of the supported networks.
- Transaction failed — Confirm you have enough native tokens (ETH) for gas fees on the chosen network.
- Tier not updating — Community staking tiers update as cumulative stakes reach new thresholds. Check the current total staked on your identity.
